30 minutes to cut price of fuel.Petrol stations will be given half an hour to adjust unfair pump prices or face fines, as part of the final plans for a new Pumpwatch regulator to be revealed in two weeks. This regulator will supervise real-time petrol and diesel prices to ensure fairness, and it was announced as a voluntary protocol by Energy Secretary Claire Coutinho in January. Retailers must share real-time prices every 30 minutes, or face fines.
