Food inflation has reached its highest point in 11 months, with prices of essentials like bread, meat, and fish increasing, according to the British Retail Consortium-NIQ Shop Price Index. BRC chief executive Helen Dickinson highlights that geopolitical tensions and increased costs from the autumn Budget contribute to this rise.
