Britain has sent troops to Israel as part of a US-led international task force to oversee the Gaza ceasefire, according to the Ministry of Defence. A small group of British military planning officers will join the civil-military coordination centre. While the US is contributing up to 200 troops, the exact number of British forces remains undisclosed. The task force includes personnel from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and the UAE.
