M&S has initiated its Christmas recruitment drive, aiming to hire over 11,000 customer assistants to manage increased holiday demand. This marks an increase of more than 1,000 roles compared to last year. M&S operations director Sacha Berendji highlighted the importance of these roles in enhancing customer experience and supporting the Christmas food to order service, with recruitment starting on 9 October.
