‘Price of UK fuel too high’ .UK motorists are facing the highest diesel prices in Europe, with the RAC revealing that diesel costs 155p per litre due to the highest duty rate of 52.95p. According to RAC, British fuel retailers should reduce prices, stating there is “no good reason” for the current high rates. Spokesman Simon Williams suggested prices should be closer to 145p per litre.
