Ryanair will increase bonuses for airport staff from €1.50 to €2.50 for each oversized cabin bag identified, according to CEO Michael O’Leary. This change, effective from November, aims to deter passengers from exceeding luggage size limits, with some travellers expressing outrage over the fines and incentives. O’Leary stated that the cap on bonuses will be removed, encouraging staff to enforce luggage compliance more rigorously.
