Calabash Glasgow International Comedy Festival
The Calabash African Bar and Restaurant on Union Street will be participating in Glasgow International Comedy Festival from Thursday 12th to Sunday 29th March, 2026
As an official GICF venue, they have an exciting range of shows with something for everyone. From Kids Magic shows, podcasts, roast battles, panel shows and traditional mixed bill and solo hours, there truly will be something for everyone at Glasgow’s most vibrant and unique African Restaurant this year.
Shows include Backbone Comedy’s popular Edfringe mixed bill
show “3 out of 4 Tw*ts”, Sally Porter’s exciting “Mistress or Mayhem” solo show, “Half Man, Half Wool” and “The Burn Supremacy” from Falkirk Comedy Club’s Alex McNair, Buckaroo Ban-Si’s “The State We’re In”, and “Ctrl + Alt + Delusion”, Nico Ndlovu’s “Siyakhuluma We Talk!” & “That Guy Comedy Show”, Carluke Comedy Club’s “Switched” & “Mad Grampas”, Alexis Magician’s “Abracadabra Family Friendly Magic Show”, GICF stalwarts ”4 Wrong Blondes” led by Colette Boyd and finally Backbone Comedy’s resident compilation show for a chance to see acts from across the festival.
