Ice Cream cost crisis.

The average price of vanilla ice cream has risen by 15% over the past year, with Tesco’s own-brand vanilla flavour experiencing the largest increase, at 20%. A study by Stocklytics also found that Cornetto prices have risen the most across branded products, with an average increase of 25p across 11 items. Consumer expert Scott Dixon accused manufacturers and supermarkets of profiteering, while retailers have attributed the price hikes to inflation and the cost of living crisis.
