Flutter soars on high sales as it prepares to list in US 

Flutter, the owner of Betfair and Paddy Power, surged by 15.3 per cent as the company reported higher sales and announced its plan to list in New York this month while retaining its primary listing in London. Flutter’s revenues increased by nearly a quarter, with a 15 per cent rise in the final three months of 2023 and a 24 per cent sales growth to £9.5 billion for the financial year, despite challenges in its US business due to significant payouts on American football games. CEO Peter Jackson called it a pivotal moment to make Flutter more accessible to US investors and access deeper capital markets.
